Gather in Christ. Grow Together

A weekend conference for Young Single Adults (ages 18–35) centered on Jesus Christ — featuring devotionals, inspiring speakers, meaningful service, and unforgettable connection.

Preparing Spiritually

Utah Area Vision

Joyfully Gathering Israel One by One in Christ

As disciples of Jesus Christ we are ‘joyfully gathering Israel one by one in Christ’ with emphasis on:

Feasting upon the words of living prophets and the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon—the Lord’s instrument of gathering

Walking the covenant path intent on receiving—and helping others receive — eternal blessings and a greater measure of

God's power in the House of the Lord.

Searching after and rescuing the one, while ministering faithfully to the ninety-nine.

Prepare to Gather

The Utah YSA Conference is an invitation to gather as disciples of Jesus Christ. A few simpleacts of spiritual preparation can help you recognize what the Lord wants to teach you, receive greater strength from Him, and come ready to strengthen the people around you.

The Utah Area Vision invites us to be “joyfully gathering Israel one by one in Christ” by ministering to others, feasting on the word of God, and walking the covenant path.

Here are five ways you can prepare:

Bring a question to the Lord.

Take a few quiet minutes to consider the season of life you are in.

What question or concern do you have?

Write it down. Pray about it. Ask Heavenly Father to help you recognize His direction as you listen, study, worship, and connect with others during the conference.

Feast on the Word.

Choose a passage from the Book of Mormon and a recent message from a living prophet to study before the conference.

As you read, ask:

• What does this teach me about Jesus Christ?

• What is the Lord helping me to understand about my life?

• What is He inviting me to trust, change or do?

Consider beginning with:

• Alma 7:11-13

• Ether 12:27

• Moroni 10:8-18

• Mosiah 2:17

Prepare to worship.

Choose one covenant-centered action you can take before the conference.

You might attend the temple, prepare a family name, approach the sacrament with

greater intention, improve the quality of your prayers, or renew a commitment you have already made to the Lord.

Ask Heavenly Father how you can receive greater access to His power in your life.

Recognize what you can contribute.

The Lord has given you experiences, strengths, and spiritual gifts that can bless His

children.

Ask Him to help you recognize one gift you can develop or use with greater purpose.

Come prepared to participate, listen carefully, share when prompted, and contribute

what is distinctly yours.

You are not attending only to receive. Someone else may be strengthened because you came.

Reach out to one person.

Gathering Israel happens one by one.

Think of someone who may need an invitation, encouragement, a ride, or someone to sit with. Reach out before the conference. Your effort does not need to be complicated. A simple message can help someone feel remembered and make it easier for them to attend.

Come Ready

You do not need to arrive with every answer. Come with an open heart, an honest question, and a willingness to act.

Come ready to draw closer to Jesus Christ, make room for others, and build relationships that can continue after the conference.

Prepare your heart. Bring your questions. Come ready to gather.

During the Conference

When and where do I check in?

THE RALLY FAQS

Do I need to be registered for the conference to join?

You do not need to register for the conference to join, but a majority of the missions must be completed while at the conference.

Will there be any prizes or swag?

Yes! See above for the prizes and swag. Additionally, the first 500 people who attend the

kick-off event will get an exclusive bucket hat.

Does it cost extra to join the Rally?

The Rally is free for all YSA!

Do I need a team or can I go solo?

You can join the Rally with friends, or just by yourself. When you join the experience on

Goosechase, you will asked how you will be joining the experience (solor or with a team).

What’s the difference between going solo or being on a team?

If you are going solo, you must complete all missions and submit using your device. This

gives you flexibility in completing missions. As a team, anyone can submit for the

challenge, but the challenges will require you to complete it as a team. Bonus points may be awarded to challenges that are hard to complete solo, or those that would be hard as a team.

What if there is a tie?

In the event of a tie, we have a few challenges that we'll use as tiebreakers (depending on the submission).

I joined as an individual, but I’d like to join a team. Can I do that?

Goosechase won’t let you switch during the experience, but if the team has an open spot, you’re welcome to join as a new participant and join their team during the setup. You won’t keep any progress on missions, however.
